THIS IS IT!!!! LAST DAY!!!!

This is our last entry from this house. Tonight, we are sleeping in the 5th Wheel and tomorrow, the movers are coming to haul everything away. IT just seems so unreal.

Last night, we went to dinner to our neighbours' house. We had a great evening and lots of laughs. Tonight, we met other neighbours at the local pub and had a wonderful chat. They are thinking of going full-time also.

Today was very busy. Got up at 7 a.m. and been on the go ever since. Packed the last of the items, did the wash ( yes I am domesticated!) and packed that, washed the garbage cans so we can store them, loaded all the stuff from our house's fridge to the 5er's fridge, loaded the truck with boxes (food mainly, going to storage), took the bed and kitchen table apart and placed the mattress into plastic covers. The only thing left now, is the freezer food and that will be going to a friend's place. The other thing that needed to be done today was my wine. I had to bottle that and damn if I know where I will store it!? Probably our storage locker which is heated by the way. Cost for that will be $88. a month + GST which makes it bloody expensive!!!!!

Anyway, moved the TV to the 5er and got that working and secured. So this is it!!!! Time for bed and get ready for tomorrow. Next time I write on this website, it will be form our new site and probably form a public Internet service such as a coffee shop or the local library.

Good night all and see on the road next!!!!

The house really feels empty now. In a few minutes, I will be going to the 5er to bed and not my regular bed. It will definitely be strange.
