The last supper! Where have they all gone!?
The Holder's left this a.m., March 25th, with their friends Kim and Tim (very nice people). So here we are all by ourselves. The last of the crew, our job is to turn out the lights and put the fireplace away. We got the honor of giving them the "Canadian Salute" as they left the park. Kim and Tim were shocked! AHAHAHAHAHA! Anyway, things sure looks empty now.
So back to normal routine for us. Wrote a few e-mail today then went to town to get more cerveza and return bottles.
Last evening, Mar 24, we all went to Charly's Rock for dinner and watch the last sunset for those leaving tomorrow. Had a few laughs and reminisced over the last 3 months. Sure has gone fast. The day started with breakfast at IVY's then went kayaking and suntan at Esmarilda Beach. Kim and Tim tried out our kayak and those of the Holder's.
John and Marlene (canadians who are buying here) joined us for dinner at Charly's Rock.
March 22 began sunny and warm. Took Val to the doctor as her arm is really sore. Bad enough to make her cry and keep her awake at night. Found out that she has tendonidis. Gave her a prescription for pain killer and anti-inflamatory (400 pesos, $40.) Doctor was 483 pesos ($49)
She's happy now!

On March 19 we went to Catch 22 Beach for some sun but didn't stay long as the wind became quite strong. Carol and Miff left this morning. That leaves the Holder's, Kim and Tim and us.
On March 20 we had "Pozole" for dinner. Kim cooked Teh dish consist of carneta (pork), hominy (corn beans), and chili cooked in a broth. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!
5 new rigs came in today. All from Quebec from Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
On March 16th, we all went to golf (Kim, Tim, Steve, Linda and us) then we had our annual St-Patrick dinner consisting of corn beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage, Irish soda bread and salad....Delicious! Thanks Linda for such a wonderful meal! For desert, we had Tres Lacha Cake...to die for!
Sat by the fire to end the evening.....Life is good indeed!
