April 1 to 8, 2015; long W/E on the water

APRIL 1, 2015; Wednesday, back to work!
More rain overnight.  My day consisted of working around the shop in the am then I made a delivery to Sea Island, Agassiz.  After lunch, I went to Aldergrove to pick up a door then after returning at the shop, unloading the door and putting it away then cleaned up the shop and that was my day!  I was home by 3:30pm and made a few repairs around the house that needed my attention.  After dinner, we watched the tube and I was in bed early.

APR 2, Thursday; Pick-up day!
A busy day driving and picking stuff and frames for a job in Sardis.  I took this load to the job site and left the frames there. (The smallest one was 24 feet long).  I unloaded the rest at the shop and it was time to call it quit.
At home, we packed, picked up Johnny and we drove to Port Moody and met Jeffrey at his boat.  We all went out for dinner at a local pub then went back to his boat and proceeded to have a mini party (read drink).  We were in bed by 11 pm

APR 3, Friday, to Secret Cove
We were motoring by 9 am after a late starts and had rain and south-easterly wind which meant behind us.  The wind got pretty strong so it was a good thing it was behind.  We arrived in Secret Cove north of Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast.  After docking and paying for the night, we went to the local pub for dinner and a couple brews.  We came back to the boat and proceeded to get serious in the drinking part.  In bed by midnight.

APR 4, Saturday, to Pender Harbour, Sunshine Coast
We all slept in this morning and finally got going by noon, a bit hung over!  An hour later we were docked in Pender Harbour.  The weather turned out better than anticipated and we even got sunshine.  We went for a short walk exploring and found the local pub in the next Marina where we had lunch.  This was a relaxing day.  We did end up drinking and having more laughs.

APR 5, Sunday; back to Vancouver
We were greeted by a beautiful sunshine and calm winds.  We were motoring by 9 am and were abeam Gibson by noon.  We decided to go in and have lunch there at “MOLLY’s REACH”, a restaurant made famous by a local TV program back in the late 90’s.  We were back at our home dock by 5 pm and after packing everything back up to the car, we said our goodbyes to Jeff and drove home.  We were home by 9 pm and in bed by 10!

APR 6, Monday; to work
Kevin and Rochelle were back in the office this morning and it was good to see them again.  I did some work around the shop and made a couple deliveries and one pick up in Langley.

APR 7, Tuesday; a new project
I went to Aldergrove to pick up frames and hardware and delivered the lot to our new job site in Sardis.  I had to go back to pick up a second load then dropped off some parts at the hop and took some old stuff to the “home shop”.  The rest of the day was spent at new job site.  Rochelle moved into her new office, she had enough of the old one and wants the new view.

APR 8, Wednesday;
 Another busy day at work!  Val went to work for 4 hrs then spent the rest of the day doing laundry.  A relaxing evening at home ended the day
