July 1 to 7, 2014; Gateway and work

JULY  1, 2014, Tuesday; CANADA DAY!
Sunny and hot (30*C)!  Regular day off for us which means “Laundry day”!  I slept for a couple hours then read my book for a while.  HH at Donna and Marcel then home to a wonderful dinner of spare ribs, mashed potatoes and salad.

JUL  2, Wednesday; Shopping day
It’s going to be another hot one!!!  I got a call last Friday from the hospital and missed it so I called this morning and left a message to call back (Heard back and my appointment is on July 22)!  I went to Salmon Arm with Tucker to pick up our mail.  From there, I drove to Chase where I had lunch then went shopping for groceries.  Afterwards, I drove to our wine place and bottled Val’s white wine.  Val went to Kamloops to Costco for her contacts and picked up a couple of items.  Busy for both of us.  We’ve had the A/C on all day.

JUL  3 to 7; Back to work
We had heat, we had rain and we had more heat these past 4 days!  Work was busy again since we are now in full summer season.  Evenings were spent sitting outside, watching “Games of Thrones” and just relaxing.  Tucker has been really good staying at home by himself.  I just love how he greets me when I arrived home at 3:45 pm.
