April 30 to May 3

May 3/06

We are in Camperland in Chilliwack. We arrived here on Sunday, the 30th April to clouds and rain later in the evening! Welcome to the coast! Anyway, Monday, we took Rochelle out for lunch than that evening, we got together with the grand-kids. It sure was great to see them again. They all were in Kelowna this week-end for Vanessa's volleyball game. Her team won the tournment and got a gold medal. This was a Provincial game so it is a big deal for them. On the May 20th week-end, they are going to Calgary for the National tournment. That will be a good one and we will be there to cheer them on.
We drove down the Fraser Canyon to the coast. It took an hour longer but the scenery is beautiful and worth it. It's been a while since we drove through there.

I have an appointment this coming Friday with O'Connor to get the grey water tank checked out and also the cable inlet in the bedroom. Poor Val can't watch TV in bed!!!!!!!! :-)

Also going to get the tranny on the truck serviced and get the 5er wheel and chocks checked out. That should get us ready for the big trip across Canada.
Today, it's sunny and warm and so it was yesterday. The forecast is for clouds and possibly rain on Friday. Figures, it's the week-end!!
Plans are still to go to Logan Lake on the 10th and return to our site on the 14th or 15th.

See you all next time!
