So much for being here on Tuesday. Just too tired. Went to bed at 9:30 p.m. which is highly unusual for me.

We arrived back from Alberta after stopping in Lee Creek, North Shuswap lake around 7 p.m. We put an offer on a RV lot, #61, in Gateway RV Estate. This will be our home base and serve as our permanent address in B.C. for medical insurance purposes. We looked at a few and decided on this one because it backs onto trees and will give us afternoon shade. It is also close to the gate and not many turns, away from most noises, we hope, and it is a nice location. We are excited and nervous all at once. Came home and phone everyone to let them know of our crazy adventures.

Yesterday, Tuesday, I took the truck to have the extra transmission cooler installed. Made some phone calls regarding storage and insurance and full-time insurance. Got a quote from Barton & Blake for $719. which seems to be a good price when compared with others.

Today, I took the purchase papers for our site to a lawyer to get them checked out and make sure there is no problems. Also checked Better Business Bureau for any discrepancy and none were found. Renewed our membership to BCAA for another year and purchased their electronic anti-theft device which will be installed on Friday. Went to the bank to set up financing for the lot. I was surprised to find out Royal bank doesn't do mortgage on deeded lots but they will set up a line of credit to accommodate. Will check out other options too. Also purchased a CB radio for the truck for the road. If we are going to be doing a lot of travel, I think this will be a good option to have. I was also looking at booster for cell phone and not sure if I need that. I find that in most of our travels, I've little problems reaching out, but in Canada, it might be a good option. Will sleep on it. Came home and cut the grass...will be glad not to have to do that any more although, I admit to enjoy it at times.

My daughter and family are coming out this week-end to look at what they would be interested in. Looking forward to seeing them and especially the grand-kids.

That's all for now.
