JUNE 11, Thursday, to Logan Lake
Rochelle and Kevin went to work but the girls are here so we visited with them after loading and hooking up. We reluctantly said our goodbyes and left around 10:45 a.m. We headed East on Hwy 1 to hope where I stopped to dump the tanks then we headed north on Hwy 5. In Merritt, we headed north on Hwy 97C to Logan Lake and got caught up in a rain storm for a few miles then the sun came out again. We arrived there around 2:30 p.m. and parked in the Kirkby’s yard. Marie Tate was driving by so she stopped to say hi. Lynden and Charlene are in town so we headed to the Rick and Pat’s house but no one was there either so to the Bull pub we go for their “FAMOUS BULL RIBS”. Yum! Yummm! Life is good! I was having a withdrawal!
We went back to the house and waited for Lyn and Charlie. They arrived around 4p.m. and we had a nice chat then dinner and proceeded to get drunk! What a life! We all went to bed around midnight.
We travelled 228 Km (140 miles) in 3.5 hours at an average speed of 47 MPH

JUNE 12, Friday, Logan Lake
Sunny in the morning and thunder storm in the afternoon. Val and Charlene went bird counting near the Copper mine so Lynden and I went golfing.
At 5:30 p.m. we all went to the Tates for a get together; Terry and Glenda, Don and Joanne, Ian and Patsy were also there. Pat had a beautiful table set up and we caught up to all the news, old and new. We had lots of fun and the food was delicious. We came home around 11 p.m.
JUNE 13, Saturday, That little black cloud again! HOME at our LOT, FINALLY!
We got up to a very nice sunshine and warm weather. Lynden cooked a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausages and fruits. We washed the dishes, packed and when Val retracted the big slide, it wouldn’t come in all the way at the top. Upon investigation, we found the outside rubber seal ripped and also the roof rubber top. Another bloody thing to have fix. GOD, WILL IT EVER END!?????
We said our goodbyes and left around 11 a.m. We drove north on Hwy 5 to Kamloops, stopped for fuel then continued on Hwy 1 to Lee Creek and our home site in Gateway Lakeview Resort.
We unpacked and put our stuff away, Donna and Marcel came over to welcome us back and so did Ruth and Dennis, our neighbours across the way. After dinner, Karen showed up with a friend, so we chatted for a while...It’s good to be here!
We travelled 135 KM (84 miles) in 2.5 hours at an average speed of 47 MPH with a stop for fuel East of Kamloops.

Spent the day setting up our lot and unpacking the truck. IT was relaxing time. BBQ’ed steaks for dinner. It’s been sunny hot and humid all day
