After a nice breakfast which I cooked, we went boating once again. We motored to an Island up the lake where young people like to climb on a rock high up and jump or dive in the lake. We didn’t try it but went for a swim and enjoyed the show. Jeff wanted to show us the boat he would like to buy so we drove to the marina at Sorrento and looked it over, a RENKER, 27 foot long. Very nice boat! We went to the little Shuswap via the connecting river and had another swim over there then it was time to come home. BBQ hamburger for dinner with Chilliwack Jubilee corn; yum, yum! The heat wave is still with us with temp. of 36*C today and there seems to be no relief in sight. The A/C was on until about 9 p.m.

Another hot day! Jeff decided to go home early as he had too many things on the go at home and wanted to get to them. We said our goodbyes and made plans to bring the boat back to him next Friday. After he left, we went on the lake again for a dip. In the evening, we went over to our neighbour, Ron and Theresa, as it was his birthday. We had a nice BBQ and a few laughs which made it for a nice day.

Another lazy and hot day! Val did some laundry in the morning and we went for a boat ride and a dip in the afternoon. I’ll be glad when this heat wave is over.

Well, my wish sort of came through...it was cloudy today and a bit cooler. It only went up to 85*F, still fairly warm but not as hot as what it has been. The forecast is for rain by Thursday!? Val went to work to work and she likes it because it’s A/C
