OF ALL ROTTEN LUCK!!!!! Found out on Monday that the tranny needs replacing. The rear and first gear kept slipping and at first, I thought it was the transfer case but, upon having it inspected, found that there was a leak by the on-line filter and the oil got low and burned over time so....it means a new transmission.
Went to a couple places and ended up at L&D Transmission in Chilliwack. They came recommended by a few places such as Green Acres Repair, my son-in-law, and O'Connor RV. So with all this, I feel pretty confident that we are in good hands. We have an appointment on Monday and Trevor at L&D tells me the truck will be ready by the next day. Cost wise, he assures me it will not go over $4000.
Anyway, we are at my daughter's place to do another laundry. The Medallion is at O'Connor getting some minor repairs done and should be ready by tonight. Then it's back to Camperland to set up once again and then come back here at Rochelle and the grand-kids.
See you all later
