Yesterday, we filled out the necessary papers for selling the house and got our deposit. Now, we need to wait for the buyer to fax us those signed papers so we can take them to our notary in Kamloops. Haven't met him yet but he came reccommended by our friend Rick and Pat who have use him in the past.
We also had friends come over and shoose what they wanted to buy. The folding threadmill was picked up today by a very nice couple. One less thing to sell.
Today, I got all our moving boxes out of the storage shed (sometimes it pays to be a pack-rat). Packing will be starting soon. Does it sound like I am eager to move and get on the road!!??? Also phoned the newspapers and cancelled the ad for selling the house.
Also made some phone call to another outfit on the Sushwap North for RV property. It's a new development and they have both the RV lot and the park model. Apparently, it has everything we need such as sewer hook-up, electricity, phone, gas/propane and they'll build a parking pad as part of the deal. We are going down this coming Friday so stay tune. We are looking at this as an investment for our money. Being on the Sushwap lakes, it can do nothing but increase in value. Land is already at a prime.
