Yesterday, I called some storage places to store whatever it is we don't sell. Also took "Big Bertha", our F350 Ford diesel to my mechanic and talked about installing another cooler for the transmission as the one there now doesn't seem to be doing the job. I have an appointment next week.
Call a call from the Keremeos RV Co-Op resort that we have been put on the stand-by list. That's great news!
Also received confirmation that the house has been accepted so that is sold. We have to be out of here by October 14. Less than 2 months! WOW! Panic time.
It was cold last night. Woke up to frost this morning! For those of you who don't know about Logan Lake, it is a small village of 2500 people nestled in the Interior Mountains at 3800 feet. It is lovely place which we will miss. We are half way between Kamloops and Merrit or 4 hours from Vancouver.
Today, I took the papers for the sell to our notary in Kamloops and deposited the deposit for the sale in the bank. Our friends Pat and Rick were at the house tonight looking at furniture they want to buy. Got rid of a few things :-)
Tomorrow, we are headed for Olds, Alberta to see Val's sisters Audrey and Dorie. Will be back Monday so won't be making any entries until then. We are also going to stop in Scotch Creek on the Shushwap to investigate that other RV resort.
That's it for now, see you next Tuesday
