It’s been raining the past couple days but we are getting sunny periods. Campers at the park really want camp fires but the ban is still on. It was lifted by the week-end. Saturday evening, we ended up at Dennis and Ruth’s place with Race and his wife for a “yard drink”. As the evening got colder, we moved inside and Dennis played a tape on Jerry E Lewis and we dance for an hour or so along with a few more drink. IT was tough going to work the next day...thank goodness it was my Friday.
Monday we went to Salmon Arm after the rain finally stopped and the sun came out. After our shopping, we came home and had “happy hour” in Bob and Gail’s new wooden gazebo which was delivered and put together earlier today. Ron and Theresa, our next door neighbours, are out for the week so they were also over. The ban on camp fires was lifted today!
Tuesday, Val went back to work and I worked in the yard, finishing the water and sewer hook-ups.
I HAVE UPLOADED NEW PICTURES in Folder 59, Life in BC AND 59A Vanessa and Garrette’s wedding. I hope you will enjoy them; we sure did!
3 days of work to go and it was uneventful and quiet or is it quiet and eventful!?. Another month gone by! WOW! I rented a couple movies and we watched them in the evening. Then it was bed time. We had a drink by the fire with Ron and Theresa and Mark and his wife.
