Vanessa and her team came in THIRD in that week-end National tournment in Calgary. THAT IS FANTASTIC!!!! They are in heaven and we are all so proud of them!
We are presently in Salmon Arm doing our grocery shopping. It's been an expensive and eventful 10 days.
We got the transfer case re & re. The main fork and plastic sleeve was shot and had to be replaced. When I picked up the truck, I was told that the right side automatic hub was not locking properly and probably needed replacing. GOOD GRIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WILL IT EVER END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So back to our site to lick our wounds and make an appointment to get this last dilemma fixed. This is stressing out our finances.
Other than the above, it's been a quiet and beautiful time at our site. Today, Thursday the June first, it's warm and the sun is shining through a thin layer of clouds. Very humid too.
Also found a leak in the water tank so will fix that myself!!! Bought the parts today.
We spent our time bike riding around and exploring. Found a neat trail! The river right now is very high and so is the lake. Some places are getting flooded out but we are safe.
Still haven't decided on our next plans and our date for leaving. Right now, we are looking at June 26 with a trip to Christina Lake and Midway than onward to Audrey and Marcel. Still to be confirmed!
That's about it for now. See you next time!!!
